Valorant is a team-based, first-person tactical shooter game set in the near future, featuring a diverse cast of characters, called Agents. Players compete as one of these characters, who all have their own set of abilities and come from various countries around the world. Jett
Jett is a swift and agile duelist from South Korea, who can use her wind powers to dash, jump, and throw knives. She gained her abilities after a mysterious event called the First Light. Before she became a Radiant, Jett worked as a chef in Seoul. She was involved in a fight with Phoenix in Venice and was accused of being part of a crime organization, but claims she has nothing to do with the group.
Phoenix
Phoenix is a confident and charismatic duelist from the United Kingdom, who can manipulate fire to create walls, flashes, and even resurrect himself. He was expelled from school, possibly the London School of Economics, and subsequently joined the Valorant Protocol, a shadow organization that recruits agents to deal with threats from a mirror Earth. Phoenix fought with Jett in Venice, using his ultimate ability to create a duplicate of himself.
Reyna
Reyna is a self-absorbed and ruthless duelist from Mexico, who can heal herself, become invisible, or invulnerable by consuming the souls of her enemies. Her real name is Delilah, she hates technology and believes that Radiants are the real future of Earth. Reyna has a connection to Viper, an agent who uses poisonous chemicals, and possibly to KAY/O, a robot agent who can suppress other agents’ abilities.
Yoru
Yoru is a stealthy and deceptive duelist from Japan, who can create portals, fake footsteps, blind enemies, and even slip into another dimension. His real name is
Ryo Kiritani and he is searching for his ancestor who was a member of an ancient order of samurai. Yoru has worked with Phoenix on a mission to stop the mirror Earth agents.
Sage
Sage is a supportive and calm sentinel from China, who can heal allies, create barriers, slow enemies, and revive fallen teammates. She possesses ancient healing powers that make her a Radiant. Sage is very respectful and compassionate towards others, and often tries to mediate conflicts between her teammates.
Sova
Sova is a calm and respectful initiator from Russia, who uses his bow and abilities to scout and eliminate enemies and create openings. He provides support for his team and can inflict damage from a distance. Sova became a Radiant after the First Light event and travelled through the rifts that appeared on Earth.
